Owner/director of Laser Engraving and Design Rob Wallace started his working
career as a draughtsman & engineer, then when computer aided design came along
he jumped at the opportunity to work with this exciting new technology. Using this
experience and newfound knowledge, he moved from aircraft to motor racing and
worked for such teams as Penske, McLaren F1 & Williams Le Mans.

Rob then decided it was time to seek a new challenge and took the big decision to
invest by starting his own company. Laser technology was an expanding medium
that could use his engineering background and artistic flair and so Laser Engraving
was formed in 2002. The business was started with a single laser and with
subsequent growth a further two that covered a wider range of cutting and etching
were invested in. This allowed great flexibility in the service that could be offered and
in 2008 the company expanded to new premises. Last year a new outlook, logo and
name was created taking account of the design service.

The company has gone from strength to strength, expanding its personnel and
capitalising on the bespoke service that only a private company can offer.
